monday CRM Pricing Plans per Seat, Cost per User, and Which Plan Rotates Leads
October 2026 · Assigner
monday CRM is priced per seat with a 3 user minimum. Billed yearly, Basic is $12, Standard $17 and Pro $28 per seat per month; on monthly billing the same plans are $18, $25 and $41. Ultimate, the plan monday used to call Enterprise, is quoted by sales, and teams over 40 users are asked to request a quote. For a sales manager the routing question sits one line lower in the plan grid: round robin lead assignment starts on Standard, because Basic has no automations at all, so the real decision is usually Basic versus Standard, not the headline price.
The plan prices, limits and FAQ answers below were read from the monday CRM pricing page in October 2026, and the routing details come from monday's own Help Center articles on round robin automations. Prices exclude tax. If you only need the price list, the first table is enough. If you are deciding which plan lets your team hand out leads automatically, read the cost table and the section on round robin after it.
monday CRM pricing per seat in 2026
monday sells its CRM by seat and by feature plan. The pricing FAQ puts it in one sentence: pricing is based on the features you want and the number of users, and you choose month to month or annual billing, with annual paid upfront. There is no free CRM plan; the free option is a 14-day trial.
| Plan | Billed yearly, per seat per month | Billed monthly, per seat per month | Automations | Round robin lead assignment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $12 | $18 | None listed | No |
| Standard | $17 | $25 | 250 custom automations a month | Yes, 10 recipes plus custom automations |
| Pro | $28 | $41 | 25,000 custom automations a month | Yes |
| Ultimate | Custom quote | Custom quote | Enterprise scale | Yes, plus the round robin block in the workflow builder |
Two details on the page are worth knowing before you sign. First, the yearly toggle says save 33 percent, which matches the math ($12 against $18), while the written FAQ still says a yearly plan gives an 18 percent discount. Budget with the prices, not the percentages. Second, the page shows the seat selector at 10 seats by default and the FAQ says plans start from 3 users, so the smallest bill is three seats. Third party guides report that seats are sold in fixed steps rather than one at a time, so a team between steps pays for the next one up; check the selector for your exact headcount before you send a number to finance.
What each monday CRM plan actually limits
The price gap between plans is small. The limits are not, and they decide which plan a growing sales team can live on.
| Limit on the pricing page | Basic | Standard | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Active contacts and deals | 1,000 | 10,000 | 100,000 | Unlimited |
| Workspaces | 1 | 3 | 15 | Unlimited |
| Custom dashboards | 1 | 5 | 50 | Unlimited |
| Columns per board | 5 | 15 | 75 | Unlimited |
| Quotes and invoices a month | 20 | 50 | 250 | Unlimited |
| Custom automations a month | None listed | 250 | 25,000 | Enterprise scale |
Basic is the trap for a real sales team. Five columns per board is barely enough for name, company, stage, owner and value, and 1,000 active contacts and deals fills up within a quarter of steady inbound. Standard is the first plan with automations and 2-way email sync, and it adds monday's AI agents with included AI credits. Pro adds mass emails, email sequences and the AI workflow builder, and lifts automations from 250 to 25,000 a month, which is the number that matters once every new lead triggers an assignment, a notification and a follow-up task.
What monday CRM costs for 5, 10 and 25 reps
Here is the annual cost on yearly billing, using the published per seat prices and assuming every seat is a paid CRM seat. Add tax.
| Team size | Basic, per year | Standard, per year | Pro, per year | Pro on monthly billing, per year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 reps | $720 | $1,020 | $1,680 | $2,460 |
| 10 reps | $1,440 | $2,040 | $3,360 | $4,920 |
| 25 reps | $3,600 | $5,100 | $8,400 | $12,300 |
At 10 reps, moving from Basic to Standard so leads rotate automatically costs $600 a year. That is cheap, and for many small teams it is the right answer. Going to Pro for the automation headroom adds another $1,320. Teams above 40 users get a quote rather than list price, and monday accepts invoices only for Enterprise level plans that meet a minimum fee; everyone else pays by credit card (not debit) or PayPal.
Which monday CRM plan includes round robin lead assignment?
Standard, Pro and Ultimate. monday's Help Center lists round robin automations as a monday CRM feature available on those three plans, with 10 pre-built recipes in the Automation Center and the option to use round robin as the action in a custom automation. On Ultimate it is also an action block in the workflow builder, so you can rotate only leads that meet conditions you set.
Before you pay for the upgrade, read the two limitations monday documents. Round robin does not factor in a team member's workload, only their availability according to their working status, and you cannot assign entire teams with round robin, only individuals. The rotation runs in fixed order, skips people whose profile status says they are away, and resets every 30 days. A rep sitting on 35 open deals gets the next lead when their turn comes, and a rep who forgot to set out of office before a vacation keeps receiving leads all week. We cover the setup, the reset and the workarounds on our page about monday.com auto assign tasks and round robin assignment.
One more catch for teams that run everything in monday: round robin is listed among the features found only in monday CRM. If your intake or ops work lives on Work Management boards, buying CRM seats does not bring the recipe to those boards. Support teams on monday service get their own rotation in the Agent column instead, on a separate seat price, which we break down in monday service pricing per seat.
Is the Standard or Pro upgrade the right way to route leads?
It depends on what fair means for your team. Use this as a quick test.
- Stay on monday's round robin if your reps carry similar loads, set their status reliably, and an equal count of leads per month is what you want. Standard at $17 per seat is the cheapest way to get it.
- Add a routing layer if you need load caps (nobody above 25 open deals), weighted rotation for senior reps, territory or segment rules before the rotation, or a recorded reason for each assignment that a manager can show when someone asks why a colleague got the big inbound deal.
- Look again at the tool, not the plan, if the same rules also need to cover support tickets or ops requests outside the CRM. Paying for CRM seats for people who never sell, just to reach a recipe, is the expensive way round.
Assigner is the routing layer option. It sits beside monday.com, picks one available rep for each new lead by rotation, load, skills and availability, and writes the owner back to your People column with the reason. It is priced per user from $7 per user per month billed yearly on Starter, $18 on Team and $36 on Business, with a 5 user minimum, and you license only the people who receive work. For context on what dedicated lead routing tools charge, see our lead routing software pricing comparison. Outbound teams pairing monday with a separate cold email software tool should route the replies that tool generates through the same rules as inbound, so a hot reply does not wait in a shared inbox.
How monday CRM pricing compares with HubSpot for lead rotation
The comparison most buyers make is HubSpot Sales Hub. HubSpot puts automatic lead rotation on Professional at $90 per seat per month billed annually plus a required $1,500 onboarding fee, against $17 for monday CRM Standard. For a 10 rep team that is $10,800 plus onboarding against $2,040 a year. HubSpot's rotation also skips reps who are away, and it is just as blind to workload. The full breakdown is in our HubSpot Sales Hub pricing guide, and the HubSpot side of routing is on the HubSpot round robin page.
Questions buyers ask about monday CRM pricing
How much does monday CRM cost per user?
On yearly billing, Basic is $12, Standard $17 and Pro $28 per seat per month. On monthly billing they are $18, $25 and $41. Ultimate is a custom quote. Plans start from 3 users, prices exclude tax, and teams above 40 users are asked to request a quote from sales.
Is there a free version of monday CRM?
No. monday's own pricing FAQ says the free option is a 14-day trial, after which you buy a plan. Qualified nonprofits can apply for free access or a discount. The free plan many people remember belongs to monday Work Management, a separate product without CRM features such as round robin.
What is the minimum number of seats for monday CRM?
Three. The pricing FAQ states that plans start from 3 users, so a solo founder still pays for three seats. Seats are chosen with a selector on the pricing page, so check the exact step that covers your headcount before you budget.
What is the difference between monday CRM Standard and Pro?
Pro raises the automation allowance from 250 to 25,000 custom automations a month, active contacts and deals from 10,000 to 100,000, and columns per board from 15 to 75. It also adds mass emails, email sequences and the AI workflow builder. Ultimate adds HIPAA compliance, advanced permissions and 25,000 API calls a day. Both include round robin lead assignment.
Is monday CRM Enterprise the same as Ultimate?
Yes. The pricing page notes that Ultimate is a new name for the Enterprise tier. It has no list price, includes tailored onboarding and prioritized 24/7 support, and adds the round robin block in the workflow builder according to monday's round robin Help Center article.
Can I get a refund on a yearly monday CRM plan?
Within 30 days. The FAQ says a yearly subscription cancelled within 30 days of payment gets a prorated refund from the Admin section. After the refund period, monday offers no refunds for downgrades, so settle the plan and seat count during the trial.
