Refund Policy
Effective 14 October 2026
Assigner starts routing tickets, leads and requests for your team as soon as a plan is paid. Because the seats you pay for are live from that moment, we treat subscription payments as final. This page explains the reasoning, the three exceptions and how to contact us.
Seats are paid for in advance and kept
A Starter, Team, Business or Enterprise payment covers every user seat on the plan for the full month or year. Routing rules, skills matching, workload balancing and reports are available to those seats from the first minute, so per-user fees are not refunded once charged, apart from the cases listed further down.
When you subscribe, you ask us to begin the service immediately. If you are a consumer with a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service within 14 days, that right ends once the service starts with your express consent and acknowledgement that it is lost.
What we do not refund
- Seats that sat empty because someone left the team or was never invited.
- A month in which you routed less work than the plan supports.
- Routing outcomes you would have handled differently. Assignments follow the rules and skills you configure.
- A renewal charged before renewal was turned off.
- Business bought where Team would have done, or annual billing where a month was enough.
- The remainder of a period after you remove seats, cancel or move to a smaller plan.
Three exceptions
Billed twice. If an error on our side charged you twice for the same plan and period, the duplicate is returned.
Card used without permission. If a charge was made without your authorization and you report it within 14 days, we look into it and return it when the evidence supports your report.
Assigner fully unavailable. If the product could not be used at all for most of a billing period because of a failure on our side, and you told us at the time, we refund that period.
Any refund is capped at what you paid for the affected period and goes back to the card that paid. Email the charge date and amount to [email protected] from the account address within 14 days of the charge.
Cancelling
You can switch off renewal from your account at any time. Your workspace keeps routing until the paid period ends. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not reverse a charge already made, and unused days are not credited.
Renewals and retries
Plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled, and each period's fee is due as it begins. If a renewal payment fails, our payment operator retries it over the next few days, and a retry that succeeds is an ordinary renewal.
Records we keep
We keep the time the Terms of Service were accepted, a workspace activity log (sign-ins, seats added, rules changed, items routed) and the payment record held by our payment operator, including the 3D Secure result.
Chargebacks
Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback on a fee covered by this policy, filed without contacting us first, breaches the Terms of Service and the workspace is closed.
Purchases before this policy
Payments made before 14 October 2026 stay under the terms in force when they were made. Billing questions go to [email protected].
