HubSpot Sales Hub Pricing per Seat, Sales Hub Professional Cost, and Which Plan Rotates Leads
October 2026 · Assigner
HubSpot Sales Hub is priced per seat. Professional is $90 per seat per month billed annually ($100 on monthly terms) plus a required one-time $1,500 onboarding fee, and Enterprise starts at $150 per seat per month billed annually plus $3,500 onboarding. Starter is currently shown at $7 per seat per month against a $20 list price. The routing question hides in the plan grid: automatic lead rotation is a Professional feature, so a sales team that wants new leads handed to reps by rule, not grabbed from a view, is really choosing between $84 a year per rep and $1,080 a year per rep.
Every figure below was read from HubSpot's Sales Hub pricing page and its Product and Services Catalog in October 2026, in USD. The rotation details come from HubSpot's knowledge base articles on workflows, meeting links and leads. If you only want the price list, the first table is enough. If you are deciding whether to upgrade from Starter to Professional so leads get assigned automatically, read the cost table and the section after it.
HubSpot Sales Hub pricing per seat in 2026
HubSpot moved new customers to seat based pricing in March 2024, and the catalog now states there are no additional seat minimums on Starter, Professional or Enterprise. That matters for small teams: the old Enterprise minimum is gone, so a team of six can buy six Enterprise seats.
| Plan | Billed annually, per seat per month | Monthly terms, per seat per month | One-time onboarding | Rotates leads automatically |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free tools | $0, up to 2 users | $0 | None | No |
| Starter | $7 currently shown ($20 list) | $20 | None | No, round robin meeting links only |
| Professional | $90 | $100 | $1,500, required | Yes, Rotate record to owner |
| Enterprise | From $150 | Billed annually only | $3,500, required | Yes, plus lead form routing |
Two caveats on that table. The pricing page shows $7 and $20 for Starter without spelling out which billing option each belongs to, and the catalog lists $20 as the Starter price, so treat $7 as the current new customer rate rather than a permanent one. Professional is labeled commit annually, and Enterprise is billed annually, so the monthly column is only a real choice on Starter and Professional.
What else lands on a Sales Hub quote
- Onboarding. $1,500 on Professional and $3,500 on Enterprise, one time, and the pricing page footnotes say the seat prices do not include it.
- Core Seats for people who are not sellers. A Sales seat includes Core Seat access. Managers, ops staff or finance users who need CRM access without the sales tools take a Core Seat, which the catalog lists from $20 on Starter, $50 on Professional and $75 on Enterprise per month. If you mix editions, every Core Seat is priced at the highest edition on the account.
- View-only seats are free, which covers executives who only read reports.
- HubSpot Credits. Starter includes 500 a month, Professional 3,000 and Enterprise 5,000. Extra credits cost $0.010 each and unused credits do not roll over.
- Workflow limits. Starter allows up to 50 workflows with restricted triggers and actions, Professional 300 and Enterprise 1,000. Coded workflow actions and webhooks need Data Hub Professional or Enterprise, a separate purchase.
At the time of writing HubSpot also runs a bundle offer that discounts Revenue Hub for new Sales Hub customers on annual billing. Offers like that change often, so price the plan you need without it first.
Which HubSpot Sales Hub plan rotates leads to reps
HubSpot spreads lead assignment across several features, and they sit on different plans. This is the part most pricing pages skip.
| Feature | What it does | Plans |
|---|---|---|
| Round robin team meeting links | Books the meeting with whichever rep is free, preferring the one who has gone longest without a meeting | Starter, Professional, Enterprise |
| Automatic lead rotation (Rotate record to owner) | A workflow action that assigns record owners across a set of reps | Professional, Enterprise |
| Meeting rotations, even or weighted | Rotates meeting bookings across reps | Professional, Enterprise |
| Lead object and Sales Workspace | Separate lead records worked from a prospecting workspace | Professional, Enterprise |
| Teams | Groups reps so you can rotate within a team | Up to 10 on Professional, up to 300 on Enterprise |
| Lead form routing | Sends a form submitter to the right rep's scheduling page by rules | Enterprise only, up to 100 rules with 10 conditions each |
So Starter can share demo bookings across a team through a round robin scheduling page, but it cannot assign the owner of an inbound lead that never books a meeting. If most of your inbound is demo requests, a dedicated team scheduling tool may cover the meeting side without any HubSpot upgrade. The leads that fill out a contact form, download something or come in from a list still need an owner, and that is where Professional comes in.
How Rotate record to owner decides who gets the lead
The workflow action is the engine behind HubSpot lead rotation, and its rules decide whether the result feels fair to your reps.
- Only paid seats can receive records. HubSpot says users must have paid Sales or Service seats. Core and view-only users appear greyed out, so every rep in the rotation is a $90 seat.
- The default split is even. For leads and tickets you can choose load balanced, round robin or random distribution. On the lead object these options are marked beta.
- Assign to available users only skips reps whose status is Away. If everyone in the rotation is Away, the record gets no owner at all, and nothing alerts anyone.
- One object at a time. HubSpot only rotates one object at a time to keep the distribution fair, so contacts and leads cannot share a rotation count.
- Counts reset when you add or remove an owner from the rotation, so a new hire starts level with reps who have been working leads for months.
None of that is a reason to avoid it. It is a reason to know what you are buying: rotation by turn or by open count, filtered by one Away switch, with no record of why a given rep got a given lead. We walk through the setup and the edge cases on our HubSpot round robin page, and the workflow steps are in our guide to HubSpot round robin lead assignment.
What HubSpot lead rotation costs for 5, 10 and 25 reps
First-year cost, billed annually, counting only the reps who receive leads and the required onboarding. Core Seats for managers and credits are extra.
| Reps in the rotation | Starter at $7 (no lead rotation) | Professional at $90 plus $1,500 | Enterprise at $150 plus $3,500 | Starter to Professional step, year one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $420 | $6,900 | $12,500 | $6,480 |
| 10 | $840 | $12,300 | $21,500 | $11,460 |
| 25 | $2,100 | $28,500 | $48,500 | $26,400 |
From year two the onboarding fee drops out and the step is $83 per rep per month at the current Starter rate, or $70 against the $20 list price. For a 10 rep team that is $9,960 a year at the current rate. Professional buys a lot more than rotation: sequences, forecasting, the lead object and Sales Workspace, 300 workflows and 3,000 credits. If you will use those, the rotation comes along for free. If rotation is the reason you are upgrading, you are paying roughly $10,000 a year for one workflow action.
When Professional is worth it for lead routing, and when it is not
Professional is the right call when your reps will live in sequences and the Sales Workspace, when forecasting matters to leadership, or when you already run enough automation to outgrow 50 restricted workflows. It is a poor buy in three cases we see often.
- You need fairness by workload or capacity, not by turn. Load balanced distribution on leads is still beta, and there is no per rep cap that stops a rep from receiving more once they are full.
- Your reps work outside HubSpot hours you can see. The only availability signal is the Away status. Shifts, time zones and PTO calendars are not read.
- Leads are only part of the work. The same team also handles support tickets or onboarding tasks in other tools, and HubSpot rotation only assigns HubSpot records.
A cheaper way to rotate HubSpot leads
The alternative is to stay on Sales Hub Starter, or on Professional for the seats that need it, and buy routing separately. Assigner sits beside HubSpot and decides who owns each new lead. It assigns by round robin or skill on Starter at $7 per user per month billed yearly, with capacity caps and an availability skip for reps who are out. Load balanced and priority routing is on Team at $18, and territory rules with weighted round robin are on Business at $36, all with a 5 user minimum. Every assignment records its reason, such as next in rotation, under cap and available.
For 10 reps, Sales Hub Starter plus Assigner Team costs $3,000 a year at today's Starter rate, against $12,300 for Professional in year one. Assigner does not replace sequences, forecasting or the Sales Workspace, so compare it against the reason you were upgrading, not the whole plan. If you are pricing CRM routing more broadly, our breakdown of lead routing software pricing puts HubSpot next to the Salesforce apps, teams weighing a cheaper CRM can compare monday CRM pricing, where round robin starts on the $17 Standard plan, and the service side is covered in HubSpot ticketing system pricing.
HubSpot Sales Hub pricing questions buyers ask
How much is HubSpot Sales Hub Professional?
Sales Hub Professional is $90 per seat per month on an annual commitment, or $100 on the monthly price, plus a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500. Each seat is a Sales seat with Core Seat access included. Ten seats cost $10,800 a year plus onboarding, so $12,300 in the first year.
How much does HubSpot Sales Hub Enterprise cost?
Sales Hub Enterprise starts at $150 per seat per month, billed annually, plus a required one-time onboarding fee of $3,500. There is no seat minimum for new customers since March 2024. Enterprise adds lead form routing, up to 1,000 workflows, up to 300 teams and 5,000 HubSpot Credits a month.
Does HubSpot Sales Hub Starter have lead rotation?
No. Automatic lead rotation and the Rotate record to owner workflow action require Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise. Starter does include round robin team meeting links, which share booked meetings across reps, but it cannot assign the owner of a lead that arrives without booking a meeting.
Is there a seat minimum for HubSpot Sales Hub?
Not for new customers. HubSpot's catalog states that since March 5, 2024, Sales Hub Starter, Professional and Enterprise are priced per seat with no additional seat minimums. Customers on the older pricing model keep it until HubSpot contacts them about moving.
Do all users need a paid seat in HubSpot Sales Hub?
Only those using the sales tools. Reps who receive rotated leads need a paid Sales seat. Other users can take a cheaper Core Seat, and view-only seats are free. Core Seats are listed from $20 on Starter, $50 on Professional and $75 on Enterprise per month.
Is there a free trial of HubSpot Sales Hub Professional?
HubSpot advertises a 14-day free trial of its paid hubs, started from the Pricing and Features area of a HubSpot account. The free tools stay free for up to 2 users with no credit card, but they do not include lead rotation.
